Sara Camlin
Sara G. Camlin lives In Richmond with her husband, Cecil; they have
three daughters (who also paint) and four grandchildren. She was
born In Texas where she graduated In Art and Education from Lamar
University. She studied on the graduate level at UNC In Chapel Hill
and VCU.
She paints primarily still llfes and landscapes. While many local
scenes may be seen In her landscapes, distant places and animals
viewed during travel can be seen, such as Hawaii and South Africa.
Sara's work Is In private collections In Virginia, Maryland, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and California. She has
exhibited at Uptown Gallery (where she is a Member), Shockhoe
Bottom Arts Center, Richmond Public Library, Westminster-
Canterbury, the James Center, Montpelier Arts Center, and several
other local venues.
