contrasts, but both
exhibits use light, color
and space to express the
artists’ love of nature
and their joy in its
beauty.
In the Main Gallery,
“Light…Space…Color” by
Dorothy Ellis & Richard
Shannon offers colorful
landscapes and floral portraits
and abstractions. Ms. Ellis
presents memories of
landscapes from around the
world while Mr. Shannon
reveals the flowers in his own
back yard. Ms. Ellis uses her
imagination to reshape the
landscapes of her memories,
while Mr. Shannon’s floral
photographs couldn’t be more
real.
